The tablet contains vitamin C (usually 1 g) and some other substances. The tablet usually contains at least a colouring agent. When the tablet dissolves in water, the solution becomes coloured and looks like fruit juice. For example, an orange-yellow solution will look like orange juice. The tablet also contains a solid acid and sodium hydrogencarbonate. When the tablet dissolves in water, the solid acid dissolves and ionizes to give hydrogen ions, which will react with the sodium hydrogencarbonate to give carbon dioxide gas. Therefore, gas bubbles are observed. H+ + HCO3- → H2O + CO2 The tablet also contains some flavoring agent (e.g. orange flavor) and some other additives.其他解答:
